Australian hosting and data residency

Cloud Ctrl’s SaaS offering is currently focused on Australian hosting. For customers using our Australian-hosted service, the core production platform and primary customer-data stores are hosted on Microsoft Azure in Australia East (Sydney).

The platform stores cloud usage and billing records, resource metadata, account and user information, and credentials for authorised cloud connections.

Backups and recovery

For our Australian-hosted service, backup and recovery arrangements vary by service. Primary database backups remain in Australia East, while selected geo-redundant backup and storage copies are replicated to Australia Southeast (Melbourne).

These arrangements provide service-specific recovery capabilities; they do not constitute a fully replicated, second-region deployment of the entire platform.

Supporting services

We use supporting services for functions such as authentication, email delivery and AI processing. These services may process relevant information outside Australia under their respective data-handling arrangements.

Our position is Australian residency for core platform data, rather than a guarantee that every supporting service processes data exclusively within Australia.
